Vitamin D Maintains brain function

This is particularly true with older people. Vitamin D not only keeps your brain functioning properly, but it does so into old age. The Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry has shown that vitamin D helps maintain the brain’s ability to function in old age. The more you consume or take in, the better neurons and signaling pathways will be able to function as you reach older age–which in turn helps you avoid developing conditions like Alzheimer’s disease.
