Bicarbonate and carbonic
acid Buffer System in Body
RBC’s have hemoglobin buffer system which is most effective
single buffer system for buffering the carbonic acid produced during metabolic
process. For each millimole of oxygen that dissociates from hemoglobin (Hb) 0.7
millimole of H+ are removed.
